TurkTractor, which has been the leader for the 10th consecutive year in the Turkish tractor market, continued to surge its turnover in H1
One of the most rooted producers of the Turkish automotive sector, TurkTraktor posted its financial results for H12017.
Accomplishing increase in turnover in H12017 as well as exporting bonds in its history, the tractor giant firm completed the first half of 2017 with TL2,052 million of turnover. So, the company achieved increase 13 percent in its turnover in H12017 year on year, according to the statement posted by the firm.
The net profit of TurkTraktor recorded as TL138 million in H12017. In addition to the plant in Ankara, the second plant which is the biggest tractor plant in Europe in terms of production capacity in the district of Erenler, Sakarya, entered into force 3 years ago, TurkTraktor rolled off the number of 22,768 tractors from the production line in H1 this year.
TurkTraktor reached the total sales of 24,908 units, of these 18,859 for the domestic market with 5% rise and 6,049 units shipped to market abroad in H12017.
Evaluating H1 of the firm, Marco Votta, Director General of TurkTraktor, said; “Turkey takes place atop of emerging countries in terms of the agriculture sector with strong agriculture economy. We, as TurkTraktor, have been producing and working for 63 years on behalf of improving this sector more. As in the previous years, also in 2017, we did a swift entrance to the year in order to provide our contribution to the country economy and achieve our objectives set for on behalf of our company.”
Stating there was ‘guiding vision for modern agriculture’ at the back of their nonstop success for years also innovations, Votta said; “We have been leader of the Turkish tractor industry for the 10th consecutive year. We will let our farmers meet with the state-of-the-art technology and equipment to allow them working more efficient. At the end of trust and interest in our products and brand, we raised our 47% market share to 52% in the first 5 months this year. I would like to state with proud that we marked TurkTraktor signature on one of every sold two tractors in the last 10 years with this nonstop success.”
Reminding the successes which they obtained in various areas were registered winning awards and he concluded; “We have added new ones of the awards which deserved us in the first half this year. We won ‘Golden Award’ and Technology Success Award in the scope of ‘43rd Supplier Industry and Export Success Award’ was organized by Turkish Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD). We have also taken place atop in the Top 1000 Turkish Exporters Assembly sectorial list. As Fortune 500 Turkey 2017, we took our place in first 50 companies. In addition, our Annual Report 2016 was deserved Bronze Award by League of American Communications Professionals LLC. Together with these awards which registered our successes and increased our motivation more; we, as TurkTraktor family, continue our works to reach higher targets.”
