Boosting its exports 48 percent in 2014, Turk Tractor generates value not only for Turkish farmers, but also for the world farmers selling tractors to over 130 countries across the world
Having produced in Ankara and Adapazarı and used in over 130 countries Turk Tractor boosted its export performance 48 percent to TL712 million in 2014. Irfan Ozdemir, Deputy General Manager responsible for sales, said the number of exported tractors reached 15 thousand 866 units in 2014. Ozdemir stated they participated in the fair Eurasia AGROEXPO held in the western province of Izmir with New Holland and Case brands.
Recording they were the oldest firm of Turkey in the agriculture and automotive sector and had been undertaking a mission to guide agriculture sector and implementing high technology to raise productivity of farmers for 60 years, Ozdemir said they let their products reach farmers through points of representative in over 600 locations. He highlighted they generated value not only for Turkish farmers but also for the world farmers by selling tractors to over 130 countries across the world.
Stating they were enjoying honor of representing their brands and company in both home and abroad, Irfan Ozdemir added they were providing technology for the modern agriculture and food production, noting technology would increase its importance with every passing day. He also said they were continuously growing in the domestic and foreign markets. The firm shipped 30 percent of its exports to North America, farmers in both Turkey and America uses the same technology. Growing 17 percent in the domestic market in 2014, the firm is very hopeful from 2015
Reminding that Turk Tractor market increasingly grow, Ozdemir said; “One of the sold two tractors outputted from Turk Tractor plant in the domestic market. We maintain to generate value for both Turkish and world farmers.”
