Tofas feels proud of getting awards in two different categories at Golden Glove Ceremony held by Turkish Metal Industrialists Union (MESS) in İstanbul.
In the scope of World Class Manufacturing (WCM), featuring production in the gold level, Tofas continues to draw attention regarding its successful applications in occupational Health and Safety Standard. Tofas enjoyed proud of getting awards in two different categories at Golden Glove Ceremony held by Turkish Metal Industrialists Union (MESS) in Istanbul. Burhan Cakir, Human Resources Director of Tofas, said, “We not only evaluate our projects that we have improved in occupational health and safety in Tofas. Our aim is to let our accumulation to reach too many establishments by transferring to our all shareholders. I thank our all of colleagues who enable us to reach this success and MESS administration which deserves us to this award.” Tofas was deserved two awards at the second edition of Golden Glove Contest which was held by the MESS in order to raise awareness, support and encourage the efforts in this area, contribute to let promotion of occupational safety consciousness reach all concerning departments in occupational health and safety standard. Tofas was awarded with primary prize in 
the category employing over 500 people. In the framework of Golden Glove Primary Award, “Behavior Oriented Approach in Labor Choice Complying with Operation” was evaluated. In addition to Golden Glove Award, the suggestion of Murat Alagoz from Tofas employees deserved to get Golden Proposal Award as well. Burhan Cakir, Human Resources Director of Tofas, said, “Securing health and safety in workplace is one of indispensable necessities. Occupational safety comes in the first topic of occupational safety, competitive and sustainable production. As Tofas, we work in line with zero accident targets. We not only evaluate our projects that we have improved in occupational health and safety in Tofas. We also aim to transferring our accumulation to our all shareholders to reach more establishments.
