The 3rd largest automotive industry fair of the world is opening its doors on 5th April 2018. Turkish automotive sector, the export champions for 12 years in a row, are coming together from 5th to 8th April in Automechanika Istanbul fair at Istanbul TUYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center.
International Automechanika Istanbul which is the third biggest after Frankfurt and Shanghai is bringing together all relevant professionals from the Automotive Manufacturing, Distribution and Repair sectors. Alexander Kühnel, Director General of Hannover Fairs Turkey, said International Automechanika Istanbul is a strong platform for the Turkish automotive sector in international competition. Having organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey Fair which is the office of Messe Frankfurt Istanbul and Deutsche Messe Turkey with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Economy and Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters Association for the 12th edition, the 3rd biggest automotive fair of the world, International Automechanika Istanbul will bring together all domestic and foreign firms which aim to invest in the surrounding countries. In 2017, hosting the number of over 1200 exhibitors from 33 countries, visitors can find easily the products and components such as Parts & Components, Repair & Maintenance, Accessories & Tuning, Oils and lubricants, Car Wash, Care & Reconditioning, etc. at 7 special sections, they will also track innovations and developments.

Turkish Aftersales Product and Service Association Secretary General Ziya Ozalp said; “Now the registered vehicle number is 21,7 million. In 2002 while there was 61 automobiles per 1000 people, in 2017 this figure raised by 143 units in Turkey. Ranging from the automotive manufacturer to distributor, Turkey has been in radar of everybody. The all purchasing groups which dominate the European market play active role in the Turkish market.
