Everyday serving averagely to 14 million commuters in Istanbul with the number of 5 thousand 100 buses with over 50 thousand trips per day, IETT, which is the public transport establishment of Istanbul Metropolitan, has set up Bus Fleet Conducting Center. The all buses are controlled around the clock to secure safety and comfortable public transport. The Bus Fleet Conduction Center’s attendants track the buses online. In the emergency conditions communication is made with the attendants in the area by receiving GPS signals and intervened to the incident in a short time. There is also metrobus fleet conducting center of IETT. Taking the necessary measurements in the all incidents IETT also provides ambulances in patient passengers and security support for the forensic incidents. The Fleet Conducting Center which has been set up in order to facilitate the management in the crisis terms, lots of operators at the center track the system’s operation. The traffic operators who track the vehicles’ trips compliance with timetable of the IETT; communication operators provide the necessary communication; tracker operators for disorder conditions track the disordered vehicles so as to let those to be repaired in time and call center operators track the information related to passenger complaints or other needed information instantly and communication desks serve for around the clock. Interactive communication with drivers According to the statement, 3G connections are provided between the control center and buses.
