From 21 to 24 January 2027 in Casablanca, the event aims to bring together 250 exhibitors and brands and 16,000 trade professionals across more than 15,000 m² of exhibition space, building on the partnership between GIPAM and EQUIP’AUTO SAS.
Sales are fully under way in Morocco and internationally
A few months after announcing their partnership, GIPAM and EQUIP’AUTO SAS have opened sales for EQUIP AUTO Maroc-MAT 2027, which will take place in Casablanca from 21 to 24 January 2027. The event aims to become a leading platform for the automotive industry, the aftermarket, services and mobility in Morocco, North Africa and the Mediterranean region.
Sales draw on the complementary networks of GIPAM in Morocco and EQUIP AUTO internationally. EQUIP AUTO is mobilising its sales team and a network of agents covering France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Türkiye, South Korea, China, the Arabian Gulf and Tunisia, among other markets.
Morocco’s automotive ecosystem joins forces
In parallel, GIPAM and EQUIP’AUTO SAS have been consulting Moroccan institutions and industry professionals for several months to build an event representing the sector as a whole. A joint delegation was received by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to discuss the event’s positioning and the role of the automotive aftermarket in the national value chain. The discussions focused in particular on recognising the aftermarket’s economic contribution, the links between manufacturing, distribution and services, and the long-term development of the ecosystem.
This momentum continued at the CGEM alongside the Automotive Federation, with key industry stakeholders including AMICA, AIVAM, GPLC and CETIEV. They share an ambition to make EQUIP AUTO Maroc-MAT a gathering place for Morocco’s automotive and mobility sectors as a whole, extending beyond the aftermarket.
An event spanning vehicle segments and tomorrow’s mobility
EQUIP AUTO Maroc-MAT 2027 will cover a wide range of vehicle and mobility segments — passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy goods and industrial vehicles, motorised two- and three-wheelers, and agricultural vehicles — as well as the technologies reshaping these markets: electrification, battery technologies, charging infrastructure, connectivity and digital solutions.
This approach will bring together complementary sectors in Casablanca — vehicle manufacturers, equipment and component makers, distributors and networks, aftermarket, maintenance and service providers, as well as digital and innovation companies. A programme of industry content and meetings will help establish Casablanca as a hub for exchanges between Africa, Europe and the Mediterranean region.
