Autopromotec brings purchasing committees together with Turkish participants

Autopromotec Fair, which will open its doors for the 29th time in Bologna, Italy, between 25 and 28 May 2022, is preparing to host more than 180 company representatives and purchasing managers from 35 countries.

The fair, having a high participation and intense visitor mass from Turkey, offered advantageous and special opportunities to UIB and OSS Members as it will be remembered this year. The event, in which records were broken in the history of the fair for more than 50 years with 1,599 exhibitors and 119,108 visitors in 2019, stands out as an international platform where the latest technological developments, products and services in the automotive sector are presented.

Expert procurement committee of 180 people from 45 countries

This year, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Economy Development and the cooperation of the Italian Trade Agency, Autopromotec, for the fair, will host the purchasing authorities of developed countries such as the USA, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia, which have close interest in the automotive sector, and the purchasing experts of emerging markets such as Mexico, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Russia. , Thailand, Vietnam, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and will provide a suitable environment for them to make purchase negotiations with all participants, especially Turkish companies.

Preparations and things to be done at the fair were explained in the online seminar

Participation was high in the promotion day organized by Autopromotec for Turkey. During the online promotion day, in which 39 companies, associations and union representatives were present, Renzo Servadei, Chairman of the Board of Autopromotec Fair, and Foreign Relations Officer Emanuele Vicentini made statements about the fair. Representatives from OSS Association and UIB attended the event, which was managed by Adnan Tolga Sancar, General Manager of Sancar Consulting Company, and Turkey Consultant of the Fair.

Renzo Servadei, Chairman of the Board of Autopromotec, said that Autopromotec 2022, the first major event to be held after the Pandemic Period, is an area where all the technological developments in this process will be exhibited and they expect it to have a very positive influence on the company trades.

Servadei adding that Autopromotec is Europe’s most important event in the spare parts, service and garage equipment and tire sector, stated that 900 companies and more than 1300 brands will take part in the fair. Autopromotec Foreign Relations Officer Emanuele Vicentini said that they attach great importance to the promotion of Turkish Companies and Turkish National Participation at the event where more than 180 professional purchasing officials from 35 countries were invited to the fair.

IAM will lead the industry

Autopromotec, considered one of the most important automotive equipment and sub-industry products fairs in the world, has been held in Bologna every 2 years since 1965. The IAM-International aftermarket sector meeting, which will be held for the first time this year, will bring together sector professionals after the pandemic period for sharing and networking new technologies and experiences. It is expected that the international aftermarket sector meeting, which will be held in halls 21 and 22, for 2 days within the Autopromotec 2022 fair, will shape the future of the aftermarket sector. A record level of participation and visitors are expected in the fair, which will be opened on an area of 162.000 m2. Autopromotec International Automotive Equipment and Aftermarket Fair, where both individual and national participation from Turkey will take place, will open its doors on May 25, 2022 in Bologna, Italy.
