The capital city of Ankara ranks atop in the number of automobile per 1000 population in Turkey. There are 1 million 204 thousand 108 automobiles registered in the capital city of Ankara, so every 234 out of 1000 are the owner of automobile. Istanbul ranked 6th with 169 automobile ownership per 1000 population, Hakkari province has 8 automobiles per 1000 population. Turkey’s Automobile Authorized Sellers Association assigned EBS, the automotive Management Advisory Market Analyst and Statistic Organization, to search for the issue across Turkey. Also Turkish Statistical Institute and notary data has been taken into consideration in the search. In terms of automobile there are a total of 10,410,486 units, accounting for 134 automobiles per 1000 population. In the EU countries, the number is 564 units per 1000 population.”
