AkzoNobel’s Izmir production site obtains key certification for automotive market

In September 2020, AkzoNobel Boya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. obtained a key certification for companies operating in the automotive market, demonstrating the company’s high-quality products, continuous control and improvement culture as well as safety and processes compliance.

AkzoNobel’s Izmir site is one of its largest Powder Coatings production sites, offering customers high quality powder coatings for nine key segments including Appliance, Architecture, Agricultural & construction equipment (ACE), Functional, Furniture, General Industry, General Trade Coaters, Information Technologies and Automotive. The production site and central office for AkzoNobel Boya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established in 1999.

Being a global company, AkzoNobel offers high performance coating solutions for the automotive industry worldwide; its products are approved for use by high-profile brands such as BMW, Daimler, Porsche, VW, Audi, Ford, Fiat, Renault and Hyundai.
