Following 10-year gap, Turkey Karting Championship 2017 that organized by Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) in the district of Tuzla was held at Tuzla Karting Park
The third race of Turkey Karting Championship 2017 was organized by Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) in the district of Tuzla, Istanbul, on 15-16 July 2017. Following 10 years gap, having entered into force as the first professional karting facility in Istanbul, the inauguration of Tuzla Karting Park organization staged to a big competition in 4 categories with participation of 24 sportsmen. Having held by contributions of Tuzla Municipality, in total 3 races in which 6 sportsmen between 7-12 years old in Formula Mini Category, Kerim Sulyak won the race as first, Yigit Arslan second and Omer Asaf Kolot third. In Formula Junior category in which 13-16 years old sportsmen joined, as Mert Dalkıran ranked atop, Zekai Ozen second and Mert Yudulmaz finished the race third. In Formula Senior category, over 15-year old teenagers raced, as Gün Tasdelen adding a new one to his victories, Emir Tahincioglu ranked second, Mert Dalkıran became third. In Formula Master which 8 sportsmen over 32 year old joined the race, last year champion Mehmet Cinar won the race as the first. In this category, Emre Gulkan became second and Volkan Duzgun third. Following this race, Kerim Sulyak in Formula Mini, Mert Dalkıran, in Formula Junior, Gün Tasdelen in Formula Senior and Mehmet Cinar in Formula Master became champion. Turkey Karting Championship 2017 will be continuing on 26-27 August at Tuzla Karting Park with 4th leg races.
