One of the foremost events concerning traffic safety was held in the capital city of Ankara in coordination of the Turkish Ministry of Transportation, Maritime and Communication and with support of TUVTURK .
TUVTURK highlighted the importance of vehicle inspection at the symposium held in the capital city of Ankara. The 7th edition of Road Traffic Safety Symposium that features as the biggest event about traffic safety was held along with attendees of Ahmet Arslan, Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication and Suleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior in the capital city of Ankara. The invitees obtained information about traffic safety at the symposium as well as a communique also issued. Having held in order to share mutually experiences of firms, establishments, organizations which serve in traffic field, Highway Traffic Safety Symposium and Exhibition was held at Ankara ATO Congresium Center on 17-19 November 2016. At the opening ceremony of the symposium, plaque was presented to Kemal Oren, Director General regarding his supports to traffic safety. TUVTURK (Motor Vehicle Inspection Inc.) the only organization authorized to serve in vehicle inspection in Turkey shared its works in road safety with visitors. Taking place at the symposium with 3 stands, TUVTURK briefed about contribution of vehicle inspection to traffic safety, in addition information was shared about Hazardous Matter Advisory trainings and logistic sector at TUVTURK Academy stand SRC 5. The stand entitled “Responsibility Movement in Traffic” – which was organized by coordination of the Turkish Ministry of Transportation, Maritime and Communication and with support of TUVTURK – drew the most interest. Information related to traffic was given at this stand visited by the Minister of Transport Ahmet Arslan and Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu. The visitors got knowledge about miserable things through the simulation animates about tumbling of vehicles and those not using safety belt. As for the simulation of motorbike and Formula 1, the visitors enjoyed happy times.
