Turkey Ranks In Top-Ten At EQUIP AUTO

Untitled-4“Turkey has always been in the top ten exhibiting or visiting countries at EQUIP AUTO”

EQUIP AUTO will be building on the robust results of its 2015 show to prepare its next edition, scheduled for 17 – 21 October 2017. Ever since it was founded in 1975, EQUIP AUTO has positioned itself as a platform for exchange and contacts in the perspective of developing the business of its exhibitors and visitors; and also as an essential meeting place at which to find out the latest about developments on the European and African markets and to plan ahead for the future. In 2009 and 2013, the show had focused on the advent of the electric vehicle and its repercussions for the aftersales sector. 2015 marked the beginning of the era of connected mobility. Over its 5 day duration, EQUIP AUTO played host to the most influential figures from the digital economy who are developing, and have already started marketing, their solutions relating to the concept of the connected – and soon autonomous – vehicle. In 2017 EQUIP AUTO will step up its actions in these subject areas which are of strategic importance to aftersales professionals – OEMs, distributors, repairers and service providers. The range of actions planned will be unveiled very soon, in particular in June at a kick-off press conference taking place in Paris. EQIUP AUTO will naturally continue to be active throughout 2016 at international exhibitions and most notably in Istanbul in April, and subsequently in Birmingham, Dubai, Anaheim, Frankfurt, Las Vegas and Shanghai. EQUIP AUTO wishes to accompany its clients all year round and wherever they may be. The 2017 show will remain true to this commitment and will be built on a threefold promise: Business, Innovation and Conviviality. These three words sum up the show’s strategic objectives. In concrete terms, this means continuing the efforts undertaken since 2011 to sustain high exhibitor numbers (1,400 exhibiting companies and brands), and in particular those from outside France (more than 60% of exhibitors at each show are international), increase the number of buyers in absolute terms (95,000 professionals in 2015) and those from the EMEA zone in particular. But, we also want to offer our exhibitors and visitors a show on a human scale which fosters effective exchange in a friendly atmosphere, so as to provide all participants with the best possible experience of a trade show which is the backdrop for the business of today and for the markets of tomorrow. Turkey is a country which fits in perfectly with these objectives. Turkish suppliers and purchasers have been faithful participants at EQUIP AUTO for several decades and we naturally wish to reinforce these historical ties. Turkey has always been in the top ten exhibiting or visiting countries at EQUIP AUTO. The 2017 edition will be an opportunity to take this relationship even further, notably through the hard work of our Istanbul office run by Mrs Deniz GÜMÜŞ and Sibel BULUT.
