Informing about objectives of the sector for 2016, Nihat Cadirci, Chairman of Motorbike Industry Association (MOTED), said, “The sales of 35 percent of motorbikes are imported, 65 percent accounted for the domestic made.” Cadirci continued, “We do not predict growth in the market regarding some negative effects in our geography where we live, as well as developments with Russia and raising price subjecting to foreign currencies. The sales of motorbikes are expected to remain in the level of 165 thousand in 2016 as well.
